Honestly there isn’t much, storage is hard on a car because a car is meant to be driven. But turn it on at least 3 times a week, if not everyday and let it run for 2-5 minutes, and once in a while let it get to normal operating temp which should be 15-20 min or less. If you can then take it out for a drive once in a while, and when you finally take it out, get it checked by a mechanic, change the oil which could be affected by just sitting there, and maybe change some other routine stuff.

Most captain’s beds and other storage beds don’t accommodate a box spring. Does anyone know where I can find one that does?

you can also go with a box spring and mattress and they do sell containers large enough and low enough to fill in space under the bed

What used car gets good gas mileage and has good storage as well?

Question by : What used car gets good gas mileage and has good storage as well?
I am looking for a used car and would like something in the mpg range of 25/32, that also has a decent amount of storage capacity.

The one car I think that would fit is the 07 Dodge Caliber. So something along those lines.

Thanks for your help everyone!

I need to build a well house/storage building on an existing concrete slab. Any advice?

Question by Mrs. Common Sense: I need to build a well house/storage building on an existing concrete slab. Any advice?
Want to build a wood frame insulated structure for storage and a well house. The size will be approximately 12×14. Should I use brackets with screws or get a nail gun and use nails? Does it matter? Any suggestions for keeping varmints out?
The new building will replace an existing metal storage building that we will remove because the wind and elements are tearing it up and I can’t stand up straight in it. Electrical is in place and currently in use.

I’d just nail the sill plate to the slab(use concrete nails and a frameing(20 oz) hammer or a hot shot.as long as the slab is >4 in. above grade(drainage issues)
