Question by diane g: storing a house full furnishing in W PA. The storage not heated can we put yahama piano wood antiques in?
is it ok to store a piano, refrig. and wood furniture in a unheated storage unit?

Best answer:

Answer by cp
I live in W PA also i would not recommend storing the piano or the antique wood in an unheated unit. If you cant find a controlled unit try asking friends and relatives if you can put some in their houses. With the wide temperature and humidity variences wooden items can warp and crack.
Good luck

Which storage hardware would be recommendable for storing data on pupils in school and why?

Question by boOoyahh ♥: Which storage hardware would be recommendable for storing data on pupils in school and why?
I was thinking a hard disk, but i’m pretty sure that there are other storage devices with better capacity?
Are there any specifically designed for school data?

A hard disk is huge and can store a large amount of date (pupils) names and stuff, you could get a memory stick but those are like 2 GB of space only whereas a harddrive has 250 GB or space, that’s huge, you can store and forget about deleting data for long periods of time, even in schools they use the computers which have hard drives in them, or you could get an externet hard drive that you carry around if you want

go for a hard disk, often called a hard disk drive

Q&A: Any tips on using the “Space Bag” vacuum storage bags for storing clothes?

Question by Hooray for Everything: Any tips on using the “Space Bag” vacuum storage bags for storing clothes?
I bought some of those plastic “Space Bag” storage bags that you vacuum the air out of after you fill them up, for storing some clothes.

Are there any tips you have for using them? Like is there any point to ironing clothes before you put them in? Does using the vacuum negatively impact the clothes in any way?

Any tips will be appreciated!

Best answer:

Answer by Rob J
The vacuum wont hurt the clothes at all- one trick to using space bags is to open them up about every three months to let the clothes expand, then re-vacuum the air out of them- but they are gonna wrinkle in the bag so I wouldn’t bother to iron them first! Good Luck!

Can I use the storage room of my balcony for storing firewood?

Question by Sam: Can I use the storage room of my balcony for storing firewood?
We get a lot of sideways rain especially since my balcony faces a horse pasture so there is no protection. I want to buy firewood in bulk to save money this fall and I need to store it where it won’t get wet. The storage room is pretty dry and hot even during a storm.
