The arguement has been that the price difference between them is to great but the price of solid state drives is coming down real fast so just how long will it take for solid state to be the main type of storage?

The price isn’t the only issue. There is also the junk controllers which cause them to be slow, and have severe write and life issues. Whenever they clear up all the issues with them, could be a few months, could be years, who knows.

I have NiCad and NiMh stick batteries that I plan to leave in storage for 4 months. What state (charged, discharged) should I leave the NiCad, and the NiMh? I have an Intellipeak Pulse Charger that can do both, so please provide accurate answers.
