Question by Liaison Officer: Is it legal to store a gun in self storage?
Just wondering. State: Arizona; does it vary from storage facility to storage facility if so do most restrict the storage of a firearm?

Each facility will have it’s own rules as they are private businesses.

They don’t like to have them but most will not care (or put it in writing prohibiting).

It’s kind of like a don’t ask and don’t tell.

Do know that even if they do – you will not be able to get insurance coverage in cases of theft.

Look in the public notice section of the newspaper. I know Newsday usually has a whole page of this type notice on Saturday so I imagine the Post and Daily News do too, although maybe on different days. You can also look in the classifieds.

I was going to apply for one of these positions and I would not have been making as much money as I was at the job I already had because most of them have housing on the property, so since you do not have to pay rent they pay a lower wage.
Also, the housing is sub-par. Maybe 1-2 bedrooms. Not big enough if you have a family.

Question by nena: How much is self storage in Philadelphia?
Ok I am looking for someone to tell me the real prices of self storage. Anyone who knows the real costs. They always advertise $ 1 first month, but I know you probably need a yr+ contract or something. I only need about 3 months. I live in West Kensington so anything kind of close by with in a few miles or so. Just a ballpark price. Anyone? Thank you in advance

Question by Barkley Hound: What is a good name for a self storage company?
My brother-in-law just purchased a self storage company and needs a name. He was thinking of “Affordable Self Storage” since it is near the top of the list in the phone book and makes it sound affordable. Does any one have any comments or a unique name for the company?
