I have a Swiss Storage memory stick that came pre loaded with some stuff from the Marines and I want to get the other data off the stick.

All you need to do is change the file attributes. In “properties” of that drive icon (or each file individually) un-tick the “read-only” box.
If ya wanna do it the old-fashioned DOS way in case windows gives ya a hard time…
Open a command prompt and type: attrib -r (Driveletter):\*.* (Driveletter being the letter of your USB drive-don’t use parentheses either. It should look like this, f’rinstance- attrib -r F:\*.*
