I’m looking for free secure online storage for important files and backup?

Question by Stephen C: I’m looking for free secure online storage for important files and backup?
I’m looking for free secure online storage for important files and backup. It must be secure though! Ideally, Yahoo Google etc – do they offer this?
Its more than just documents. Its things like backing up private emails and address books, passwords, etc so I don’t want to take a chance either on forgetting to make it private. I want it to be always private and nothing else
Yahoo briefcase looked to be a good option but when I signed onto it it said ‘Briefcase will be closing on March 30, 2009.
You must download or delete your files before this date.’ This is therefore no good to me
Actually, Windows Live Skydrive looks pretty good and I’m going to give it a go; thanks!

It depends on how much storage you are thinking of. For example, you can use Google Docs to keep some of your info online.

I’m looking for ideas on how to market a new storage facility that my company just built?

Question by teddy_terry: I’m looking for ideas on how to market a new storage facility that my company just built?
I just became the property manager of a new storage facility of about 1000 units. I’m just looking for any ideas in terms of marketing to help increase occupancy at the facility which, in turn, will make more money. Any thoughts?

If you have a local residential college, marketing to students would be great..offer them a deal! Its hard for parents to come and get all that stuff and often its cheaper to rent a unit for a few months in the summer.

Looking for cloud storage that allows me to delete items from my computer without deleting from the site?

Question by : Looking for cloud storage that allows me to delete items from my computer without deleting from the site?
I’m looking for a site that offers cloud storage, but one that allows me to delete something off my computer without deleting it from the storage site. I find with sites like Dropbox, you have to keep the item on your computer, because if you delete it, it deletes from your Dropbox as well. Any ideas? Thanks!

I’m looking for a self-storage place where I can also hang out and work a little. What to search for?

Question by –: I’m looking for a self-storage place where I can also hang out and work a little. What to search for?
I would like to be able to park my car near to my storage unit and unload and work on stuff there. I want to eventually rent out a “shop” where I can work, but I want to start like this, so I can start to accumulate equipment and work a little. Any ideas? Do any self-storage places let you do this?

I am looking for a frugal creative way to store DVD movies without having to buy a storage unit for them?

Question by Mary: I am looking for a frugal creative way to store DVD movies without having to buy a storage unit for them?
The DVD movie storage units seem so expensive. I’m trying to save a few dollars and was looking for a frugal creative way to store them. I have 200 DVD’s right now. They would be stored in the office room. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Go to a Craft Store and look for those nicely decorated cardboard storage boxes, take along a couple of DVD’s for size and see how you want them to sit in the box, ie: single row or side by side,
