We are moving into an old country house that has very very small closets (not even large enough to hang clothing). We don’t like bed frames and headboards and are trying to find a way to lift our bed to put short storage bins underneath. We also need some ideas on what to do about hanging clothing! I know we can get hanging bars and mounts for the wall but how could we disguise them to not have them completely out in the open?

Go to the patio area of your home center and get the brick or stones that are used to make walls for flower beds. Use them for corners to raise your bed. They will look nice in an older home too. check out used furniture stores etc for wardrobes. That is what people used to hang clothes in before someone thought of building closets. Some may be called armoires although they usually just have room for short articles like shirts.

I’m looking for a storage unit to store my stuff and the only available units out where I’m living are outside. The offer heated floors but would be enough for my tvs and computers during the cold winter here. Will it be enough to keep my things from cracking/breaking.

In Michigan I have a lot of electronics that are left in an unheated winter home. Have never had a problem in the spring when I re-opened it.
