My friend has a 1972 firebird formula, which has been in storage for 20 years, is free of any rust & in excellent condition. She can’t find how to figure it’s worth, can anyone help me?

It depends on the model, but also depends on the notion that there is one born every minute. Someone may be looking for that exact model and is willing to pay anything for it. On the other hand, it may be so common or not collectible, no one is willing to spend any money on it. It all depends. Timing is also everything when it comes to who will pay how much.

I am looking for one of those plastic storage bins that can fit under your bed… I do not want to purchase it online.

I’m trying to find the dates, times and location of storage auctions in Dallas & Ft. Worth Texas. I have looked in the newspapers but I’m only finding one or two storage auctions here and there. Is there a better way to find this information?

I understand your frustration. The problem with the Dallas / Fort Worth area is that there are several larger newspapers and over 30 smaller community newspapers that publish legal notices. The cost to subscribe to all of these newspapers and the time required to read them every day is not practical. There is a new service in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area that actually calls over 1100 storage facilities twice per month in order to get their storage auction information. This is the only source that provides listings for 100% of all storage auctions in our area. If you going to attend storage auctions on a regular basis, this service is a must have. Their website is

Look in the public notice section of the newspaper. I know Newsday usually has a whole page of this type notice on Saturday so I imagine the Post and Daily News do too, although maybe on different days. You can also look in the classifieds.

Question by ma1860: Most storage places have live in managers. Where do I find info on a postion with them?
I am looking for a job that is live in. other then caregiving and property management, storage businesses offer this type of arrangement but i can’t locate a place to apply. HELP.

Just open an account with Career Builders and Monster.com. When they send my daughter management positions each time, there are always storage manager jobs available. Whether or not they are live-in, you’d have to check out.
