The Garden Shed – Not So Humble

Typically a simple place to keep garden tools, the humble shed has grown in status over the years. William Caxton, the English printer first documented the word ‘shed’ in 1481 when he described it as a place to keep dogs. As humans are by nature, protective and proud of their possessions, the shed was an ideal place to store them safely, thus leaving the house for the residential purpose for which it had been built.

What is the difference between a tuber and a storage root?

My actual question is… How are english and sweet potatoes different? Biologically, not taste. I am pretty sure potatoes are tubers and sweet potatoes are storage roots, but what is the difference between them?
