Question by mmckenzie6: Where can I find a low profile door knob replacement for “lower leg” level interior storage doors?
My room currently has 3 storage spaces that each have small (25″ high) doors and big round knobs (stick out about 2″) used to access them. I’m guessing the room is meant to be more of a extra/computer/game room but that is what I have to work with. I am looking for some ideas on how I could replace these knobs with something to better conceal the doors.

I am planning a layout for finishing my basement. I have some usable space under the basement stairs that I plan to make a storage closet. The space that is available dictates that the door be 3′ 6″ high at the highest. The door will also be about 27-28 inches wide. So I was wondering if anyone could give me some good sources for custom sized doors. Nothing fancy or expensive. Also, if anyone knows where I can find some information on building my own door, that would be useful. Thanks!

2 shelfs would work as a door. home centers sell many different styles with rounded edges. my local home depot used to carry kitchen cabinet doors but they stopped last year
