I am sure everyone out there has a friend who has a cousin or uncle that does construction for a living, but does anyone ever think about whether they are licensed or not? More and more I am hearing about sting operations that the California State Licensing Board (CSLB) is conducting. Not too many people ever think of the consequences of hiring an unlicensed Contractor could be but you are more likely to find out one way or another. I am here to give my two cents on how to avoid costly mishaps by hiring unlicensed Contractors to work on/in your home.

Regular cleaning products can not only be expensive but a lot of them can be bad for your health because some are full of chemicals. EWG tested more than 20 cleaning products used in schools in California, and the results were frightening.
