Question by Richard E: What happens if an item is owned by a bank at a storage auction?
If I went to a storage auction and won a storage unit containing a motorcycle, what happens if it’s still owned by the bank? Do I have to return it to the bank, or pay the outstanding balance?

The bank may still have a lien on it and therefore have some kind of rights to it. However, I say this depends a lot on the state in which you live… get a lawyer where you live to answer this as there is really no telling
