I need to build a well house/storage building on an existing concrete slab. Any advice?
Question by Mrs. Common Sense: I need to build a well house/storage building on an existing concrete slab. Any advice?
Want to build a wood frame insulated structure for storage and a well house. The size will be approximately 12×14. Should I use brackets with screws or get a nail gun and use nails? Does it matter? Any suggestions for keeping varmints out?
The new building will replace an existing metal storage building that we will remove because the wind and elements are tearing it up and I can’t stand up straight in it. Electrical is in place and currently in use.

I’d just nail the sill plate to the slab(use concrete nails and a frameing(20 oz) hammer or a hot shot.as long as the slab is >4 in. above grade(drainage issues)
