maybe a 20 dollar bookshelve at target, i have one, but i use it for my dvds.

Master bedroom closet needs more storage. Could use either clothes rods or shelves. I have cubbies for shoes, I am planning on placing cubbies just below closet window. I want to make use of space in front of window, from top of cubbies to just below ceiling. Access to window not important. I have Closetmaid wire shelves and hanging rods. The cubbies are made of laminate wood. Anyone know how to span window without a major redo? I appreciate the help. Thank you.

Go to a hardware place and check out what they have to work with and get some ideas, or clean out the closet and give things to Good Will or some one who can use it.

I know there’s a small storage compartment under the seat, and there’s a space on the ignition that says “seat” but no matter what I do, I can’t get the seat up.
It’s a 2009 model

What year is your bike? I have looked up a few of your bike’s owners manuals, and they all have a key on the left side of your seat. If not, has your seat release ever worked? Are you holding the key in the ‘seat’ position while lifting the rear of the seat? Could it be broken? It appears (from your description), that there would be a cable running from your ignition to the latch on the seat. (seats open from rear to front). Perhaps you can access the cable near the ignition switch, (by taking off the body part where the ignition switch is), and pulling on the inner cable manually. Then you can adjust or replace the cable, or latch as needed. You also may be able to reach the latch, or cable, by reaching up under the bike.
