I can understand being upset with the present state of rap, but organized was just too damn good. Frankly im not sure id even want to hear anything better I might not be able to take it.

“PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE PRESSURE COOKER! / I leave the party with a mass amount of hookers”

love how that line flies in. Wicked tune, i slept too long on Organized Konfusion. that bass and piano is just delicious

Ive just listened to half of their debut album, and i gotta say their flow is so damn and redefing, i mean i can count 16 bars in a song and can tell where it ends, but their feels like its all over the place but still organized. And the lyrics, shit, thats just pure rawness, all i gotta say is classic!

I swear….Organized Konfusion IMO is the most slept on Hip-Hop/Rap act in history! They do not get the credit they deserve.

As a lyricist, I still study this album!! There are so many layers to it! The lyrics are sick. It can go up against most 2010 bars and win hands down.

  • goingallout says:

@goingallout i forgot to mention SuperLover Cee and Casanova Rud they used to be in my buildings all the damn time.

  • whitechocandy says:

Holy fuck. These dudes absolutely ripped it. True lyricists.

Hip-Hop is definitely going backwards nowadays.

  • whitechocandy says:

    @minhasc Word to that.

  • Belouknow25 says:

@minhasc Exactly! This is the reason why I get into so many debates about hip hop now and then with these new cats. If ” MCs ” in the now, can’t match the lyricism of a group like this along with other legends of hip hop, why would they accept the music now as hip hop? Its just soulless, unoriginal, tasteless, trash. There are still MC’s who still rap with this type of lyricism, but aren’t considered legit because its not about bling, or snapping your fingers and doing a step of some sort

  • minhasc says:

OK was and still is waaay beyond hip hop standard shit: the lyrics & delivery is above most ppl’s heads, i mean this was in 91, 19 yrs later we got soldier boy n the rest of those dicks?

  • iakaj says:

true story me and my man was in a jam like 91 92 and fight broke out my man got his head bust open

  • rapsody says:

A lot of songs sound the same in every genre of music, as long as it’s not blatant biting or not giving respect then there’s nothing wrong w. it. Especially hip hop since it was built upon borrowing sounds. And any head who seriously tries to argue the originality of OK isn’t to be taken seriously in my opinion. Both tracks are dope.

  • dintendo65 says:

the DJ Food Stamp Remix to this is sooo dope

  • TheChicago007 says:

@brfrndz bassline was sampled by cypress hill first on there first cd. then naughty’s uptown anthem then 2pac makavieli intro. one thing in common….THEY ALL KILLED DAT SHIT!!! THATS WHAT TRUE MC’s DO BABY!!

  • charlyblues says:

  • smstokes says:
