Question by Vanchark: What adds more memory (Storage) to your alienware?
Well I’m planning to buy an Alienware m15x laptop and was wondering how you add more storage to it. I want it up to 1 tb at least and is there anything on the Dell Customize Your Alienware Laptop page that will make it go up to that kind of storage? I’m not a huge computer tech so yea.

DO NOT BUY ALIENWARE IT IS WAY OVERPRICED but if you do i think they allow you to upgrade to a larger harddrive for a small fee and if not you could buy another Tb and put it in yourself for under $ 100

I’m trying to find the dates, times and location of storage auctions in Dallas & Fort Worth Texas. I have looked in the newspapers but I’m only finding one or two storage auctions here and there. Is there a better way to find this information?

I understand your frustration. The problem with the Dallas / Fort Worth area is that there are several larger newspapers and over 30 smaller community newspapers that publish legal notices. The cost to subscribe to all of these newspapers and the time required to read them every day is not practical. There is a new service in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area that actually calls over 1100 storage facilities twice per month in order to get their storage auction information. This is the only source that provides listings for 100% of all storage auctions in our area. If you going to attend storage auctions on a regular basis, this service is a must have. Their website is

Question by gregb: What are some business ideas that don’t require employees? Car washes, storage facilities, etc..?
I have the ability to acquire property for relatively cheap prices and am contemplating starting a small business at these sites. It would be optimal to run such businesses with few if any employees. Among my current ideas are car washes, and storage facilities.

Can you please relay any other ideas that I could operate without the need for employees?

Parking lot if the space is a big enough and there is a demand for it.

Could also just rent it out to someone rather than building a small business yourself..

I know the Touch comes in 8, 16, 32, 64 storage models, but could you say upgrade just the storage on a 32g to a 64g on the same touch?

I think its called cloud or something, I don’t really know.. But I have a spare computer with a 500gb hard-drive, and I would like to use it as a private storage server, sorta like dropbox? Something where all my other computers can connect. I wanna use linux, but also have like a gui.

Ubuntu will set up 2 GB free online storage. More space is available at a price. You can also use dropbox with ubuntu.
Click on the “Show me how” buttons to get explicit instructions.
The largest free storage I’ve seen is 50 GB with nagging to upgrade to the paid version. Adrive.com. It also works with linux/ubuntu.
For best results with ubuntu be sure to read the documentation.
